Abstract

This paper is to demonstrate that, in addition to writers, poets, publishers and teachers, the translators too were responsible for a good or a bad book. Children love the type of book that follows the artistic spirit. That means that such books suggest to children in a direct way how to learn, how to recognize things, and they also reveal simple beauty that children immediately accept and they awaken emotions; such books one cannot forget for a lifetime. Illustration as well as text is equally important in children's literature. Visualization also affects very much the child's verbal ability. Illustration, way of writing, form of letters, headings, number of pages, the thickness of the book, all that has an emotional impact on the reader and especially on the child. Illustration shows different characters and thus reveals their world.
