Abstract
Tourism is one of the most promising and fastest-growing economic sectors in Herzegovina which is known as aarea rich with natural resources and attractive tourist destinations with huge potential. Quality communication in tourism sector is one of the main segments for the sustainability, development, promotion and improvement of tourism. It specially concerns institutional communication od the departments responsible for tourism menagment which aim to improve tourism in Hezegovina-Neretva Canton. By using the valid and effective methods in this paper, including empirical and theoretical research, we will determine at what level is communication and promotion of tourism in Herzeegovina-Neretva Canton, using examples of instituions communication: Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Enviromental HNC, and Turist boardHNC. Our goal is to examine the quality of promotion canton’s tourist potential and to offer recommendations for segments that have to be improved with the purpose to improve tourism in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
